The Public Safety Division at 32 Ford Mercury was started in 2006. During that year, we have upfit nearly 2 dozen public safety vehicles, from dump trucks to police cars. In 2007, we increased our upfitting numbers by over 1200%, completing over 300 vehicles for over 100 different municipal agencies around the state of Ohio . Since 1990, the Fleet Division of 32 Ford Mercury has sold over 15,000 vehicles ranging from Crown Victoria Police Interceptors to trucks and SUV's like Explorers, Expeditions, and F series pickup trucks.
A major part of our Public Safety Division's success has been a team of professionals who are as serious about customer service as they are about the technology. Hugh Albright leads that team as our Public Safety Division Manager. Hugh hails from Vermont where he operated his own public safety installation business for several years. He also spent 8 years as a Firefighter/First Responder for the Cambridge Fire Department. He took over operations after demonstrating his talent as Shop Foreman. Scott Spicer, our lead technician, operated his own used lighting equipment business here in OH. He also spent 15 years as a Police Officer, Firefighter, and EMT.
We already see good things coming for 2008. 32 Ford Mercury's Public Safety Division will be working on several large projects, including the State Patrol, totaling upwards of 400 Crown Vics.
Our goal is to offer knowledgeable customer service to area agencies looking for emergency equipment sales and/or installations.
We offer lighting products from Whelen Engineering, Tomar Electronics, Code 3, Lightning-X, Sound-Off, and Federal Signal.
Our console options include both Havis-Shields and Jotto-Desk.
Prisoner transport components come from Patriot Enterprises, USA
Setina Mfg, and Pro-Gard Industries.
We also offer complete vehicle wiring harnesses from MNStAR and Patrol-Power.
Feel free to call us when planning out your next emergency vehicle purchase. Not only can we provide you with the right Ford vehicle, but we can also offer a complete “turn-key” package. If you're not interested in utilizing our installation services, we're more than happy to spec and sell you all the components needed for performing the installation elsewhere.
